The Release Wire Media Group respects copyright and responds to valid notices of claimed infringement.

Sending a notice

Email editorial@finlandwire.news with the subject line "DMCA Notice", including:

1. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
2. The URL of the material on finlandwire.news you want removed, specific enough for us to locate it.
3. Your name, address, telephone number and email address.
4. A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
5. A statement, **under penalty of perjury**, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
6. Your physical or electronic signature.

What we do

We review valid notices promptly and remove or disable access to material where the notice is well-founded. We notify the party that submitted the material and give them the opportunity to file a counter-notice.

Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing may make you liable for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).

Counter-notice

If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, send a counter-notice to the same address including the material and its former location, your contact details, your consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate federal court, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.

Repeat infringers

We terminate the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
